Pickle Recipe

Disclaimer: This recipe is completely my own doing. Not following any other recipes, and the measurements are mostly eye-balled. Experiment with your own ingredients, measurements and flavors, that’s the fun part of cooking!

  • Organic Cucumbers

  • Rice Vinegar

  • Garlic

  • Red Pepper Flakes

  • Salt

  • Water

  • Mason Jar

Step 1

Slice cucumbers into the shape of your choice.

Step 2

Smash, then chop up garlic roughly. Smashing the garlic releases much more aroma and flavor, so don’t skip it!

Step 3

Boil ½ cup of water. Combine with ½ cup of rice vinegar and mix together.

Step 4

Layer pickle, garlic, salt, and red pepper until jar is full. Then top off with vinegar mixture. Seal and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.

Voila, now you have simple, homemade pickles!
